Cooking ahead for Easter dinner tomorrow!
I always spend Easter at my parents’ house, and we always enjoy a delicious mid-day meal of ham sandwiches and assorted side dishes. Today I’ll be making baked beans (pinto, black, garbanzo, and butterbeans), cinnamon brownies (no “lamb cake” for us!) , and some sort of potato salad (I’m still deciding on that one). I’ll take all of these with me tomorrow morning when I travel across a couple of towns to spend the holiday with family.
